Background

Francesca Cascella joined the CORE-ITN in May 2017. She graduated at University of Bari ”Aldo Moro”(Italy) in Chemistry. Now she works in the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems of Magdeburg (Germany) focusing on the Continuous Resolution of Enantiomers by Crystallization, under the supervision of Prof. Heike Lorenz and Prof. Andreas Seidel-Morgenstern.

2017: Masters’ degree in Chemistry at University of Bari “Aldo Moro”,  “Synthesis and characterization of Cesium Lead Bromide nanoparticles for optoelectronic applications ’’

2014: Masters’ degree in Chemical Science at University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, “Synthesis of bioactive cyclopropane through activation of C-H bond in ionic liquids”.

Research Interests

Experimetal study in synthesis of organic molecules, colloidal nanoparticles, and their optical and morphological characterization.
