Joint Summer School - Particulate Systems: From Theory to Applications

Welcome to the Joint CORE / 6th Summer School of the IMPRS for Advanced Methods in Process and Systems Engineering!

Every two years, the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) hosts a popular Summer School where PhD candidates are invited to further discuss specific problems of Applied Mathematics, Chemical Engineering and Bioprocess Engineering. Prominent experts from all over the world traditionally come to Magdeburg not only for lectures on their areas of expertise, but also to boost scientific networks in a crowd of engaged young researchers.

The programme is composed of lectures and tutorials that enable participants to put all theoretical tools acquired into practice. Furthermore, a cultural and social agenda completes the schedule of five intensive days of research, exchange, reflection and... fun!

Following its long interdisciplinary tradition, the upcoming school is dedicated to a closer look at "Particulate Systems: From Theory to Applications".

The event is a joint initiative of:

Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems

CORE ITN, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) on Continuous Resolution and Deracemization of Chiral Compounds by Crystallization

Doctoral students of the IMPRS Magdeburg, as well as PhD students and advanced master students working on related topics are invited to participate.
